Inhale and hold. Keep the anger in check. Exhale a whisper, keep lying to yourself. It’s in the sun. It is clear to me now. It’s obvious now, how the scum, pitied yet held so high: control the world, shape the weak, abusing all of their power. The tiny amount of progress we’ve made has been wasted away. The oppressor truly holds the reigns, intellect and art cast in chains. Chains. Mankind is so far gone, the masses made it clear. Right now we’re on our own. Do not give into fear! Do not succumb to shame, do not attempt to blame. Stand up for yourself! Or live in your own hell. Hell. The future holds nothing (and) I’m ashamed of myself. We are choking on the bones (of the) rotted carcass of so much progress. Merely a blink in time. Soon we’ll all cry. It won’t end well.
